This Privacy Policy explains how Modern Day Scribes, a brand of Myles Stone Media Group ("we," "us"), collects and uses information when you visit themoderndayscribe.com, take The Scribe's Calling assessment, join a waitlist or enroll in a program.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, assessment answers and result (your photographer archetype), your photography stage, and anything you send us by email or in program spaces.
- Purchase information: when you enroll, your payment is handled by our payment providers (Kajabi Payments and, where offered, Klarna). We receive confirmation of your purchase, but we do not see or store your full card details.
- Program information: assignments, photographs, discussion posts and attendance for programs you join.
- Automatic information: our website platform, Kajabi, uses cookies and similar technology to keep the site working, remember your login and measure site traffic.
2. How we use your information
- To show and send you your assessment result and free tutorials.
- To add you to the waitlist you join and tell you when enrollment opens.
- To deliver programs you purchase, including schedules, session links, feedback and completion records.
- To send occasional emails about Modern Day Scribes programs and resources. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- To understand which programs and content serve people best, using your archetype and photography stage in aggregate.
3. How we share it
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run Modern Day Scribes, such as Kajabi (website, email and courses), our payment providers, and video conferencing tools for live sessions, and only as needed for them to provide those services. We may also disclose information if required by law.
4. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you are subscribed or enrolled, and afterwards as long as needed for records, tax and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
5. Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link at the bottom of any email.
- Ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing us.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law. We will honor them.
6. Children
Our online programs are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
We use reputable platforms that protect your information with industry-standard security. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong password for your student account.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
