What a shot list is

A shot list is a written plan of the photographs a service needs, decided before you walk in. It does not script the room. It prepares the photographer, so that when something unplanned happens your eyes are free to see it.

What is inside

  • Issue 01: the wide, the preacher in context, movement, the witness, the in-between
  • Issue 02: the worship leader, the messenger, ministry, fellowship, the close
  • Issue 03: the anchor, the congregation up close, the one, stillness, the detail
  • Issue 04: the listener, response and comfort, prayer, the altar

Every page pairs one photograph with the reason it belongs on your list, the camera settings used, and a plain instruction for getting it.

Who it is for

Church photographers and media volunteers, whether you have served for ten years or were handed a camera last month.
